We make renewable energy available. For everyone. At any time.

Since 2014, ju:niz has been developing, implementing, and operating battery storage systems that safely feed renewable energy into the grid and make it flexibly available.

Our strength lies in the close integration of all steps from site analysis to technical design and long-term operation. In this way, we ensure that our storage facilities are not only built, but also operated reliably for decades.

In addition to our own projects, we also focus on co-development: we get involved in ongoing projects, contribute capital, know-how and operator expertise and bring them to an efficient conclusion.

Our role

We see ourselves as a responsible operator and innovator. Our mission is to stabilize grids, relieve critical infrastructure, and enable the integration of renewable energy.

Our approach is built on:

  • Technical excellence: storage systems with high availability and optimized performance.
  • Long-term perspective: Planning and operation over 20 years, supported by EQT’s financial strength.
  • Practical solutions: economic models that balance grid requirements and revenue mechanisms.
  • Co-development: We take on projects at an advanced stage and lead them reliably to realization. With strong financing, technical expertise and rapid implementation.

Our values

  • Responsible: We act transparently and reliably from project planning to operation.
  • Impact: We deliver results that matter — grid stability, security of supply, and economically viable models.
  • Pioneering: We are shaping new paths for a secure energy future in a bold, innovative and fact-based manner.
